Build Advanced WordPress Carousels with WP Carousel Pro

WP Carousel includes Gutenberg blocks, ready patterns, an AI builder, and a classic shortcode builder for pictures, posts, pages, custom post types, WooCommerce products, and YouTube or Vimeo videos. WP Carousel Pro adds more ways to arrange that content, bring in media, and control how visitors view it. Some settings available in blocks require Pro in the classic builder.

Layouts and composition

Choose Masonry for columns with varied entry heights, Justified for even-height rows, Panorama Carousel for a curved panoramic view, or Ticker (also called Marquee) for continuous scrolling. Pro adds Cylinder, Card Stack, and Orbit styles to the 3D Carousel alongside Coverflow, with full 3D settings. Other composition options include multi-row, vertical, variable-width, and partial-view carousels, six additional Tiles layouts, and a custom layout editor.

Media sources and video playback

Create audio shows from SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Mixcloud, Bandcamp, or your own files. Automatic feeds can use RSS, a YouTube channel, or a Facebook page. Pro also works with TikTok, Twitch, TED, Dailymotion, Rumble, Wistia, SproutVideo, embed code, and self-hosted or MP4 video. Video can play inline with muted autoplay, on hover, or in a loop.

In the classic builder, slides can combine content types and use custom HTML or shortcode. Post and product filters include category and tag; posts can also be filtered by author or date, while products can be filtered by sale status, best-selling, or top-rated status. Selected posts can be excluded.

Browsing, protection, and timing

Visitor controls include category filter buttons, live Ajax search, Load More, and infinite scroll. Images can link to a destination, and the lightbox can provide a slideshow, zoom, full-screen viewing, downloads, sharing, and captions.

For picture and access controls, Pro can add watermarks, block right-click saving, password-protect a carousel, or show it between two dates. Additional motion and styling options include fade and Ken Burns effects, WebGL shader slider styles, content, entrance, and scroll animations, image filters, image flip on hover, and more content styles. Card details can be reordered with drag-and-drop controls.
