From cart products to shipping rates

Advanced Shipping Rates for WooCommerce Premium, previously known as Fish and Ships, calculates table-rate shipping from product, cart, date, time and destination conditions. Set rates using details such as weight, size, volume, dimensions, product fields, cart totals, visitor roles, shipping zones or ZIP and postcode. Calculations use the currency and measurement units configured in WooCommerce.

Before applying selectors, select how to group the products being shipped: leave them ungrouped, group by product ID or SKU, combine variations of the same product, group by shipping class, or put all products into one group.

Match conditions and ranges

Premium adds selectors for volumetrics, combined dimensions, length plus girth, product categories and tags, user roles, cart totals and product-specific fields. Seven date and time selectors cover the day of the week, day of the month, year, full date and time-related conditions. Destination conditions can use a zone region or ZIP or postcode.

Combine conditions with AND logic when each must match, or use Premium's OR operator when any of several conditions can qualify. Range assistance works with price, quantity, volume, volumetric or dimension-based ranges.

Calculate and control shipping methods

Rules can calculate shipping costs, offer free shipping or a flat rate, or disable a shipping method. Premium adds conditional rule skipping, the option to skip products on later rules, and advanced minimum or maximum calculations that can reset earlier results. Volumetric calculations work with selectors and ranges; user-role rules can set distinct costs or free shipping.

The Packer algorithm fits products into predefined shipping boxes. You can conceal shipping methods from this plugin, WooCommerce's native methods or third-party methods. Additional controls can apply coupons conditionally, rename a method, add a subtitle or helper text, show WooCommerce notices, or add an order note when the method is used. You can also customize cart-total messages when no shipping options are available and use mathematical expressions or formulas in rate calculations.

Currency and shop setup

Multicurrency support includes the official WooCommerce multi-currency plugin, WPML with WCML MultiCurrency, Aelia, WOOCS, Multi Currency for WC and WP Wham Currency Switcher. Exchange rates can handle conversion, or you can set custom shipping rates for each currency.

Create a table-rate shipping method, choose its conditions and product grouping, then set its calculation and show behavior. Import and export tools can duplicate or move shipping method configurations between websites. The setup wizard, contextual help, documentation, ready-to-use samples and built-in log system can help with configuration and reviewing how rules were applied.
