Advanced Post Block Pro for Targeted Gutenberg Displays

Advanced Post Block Pro lets you select posts, pages, or custom post types and present them in structured layouts in the WordPress block editor. It suits blogs, magazines, news sites, and other content-heavy websites. Add a block, choose what it shows, adjust its presentation, and preview the result in the page or post.

Choose a template and layout

The Pro Template Library offers Pro-only layouts that you can import from the editor toolbar. Browse with search and category or Free/Pro filters, preview layouts, and save favorites in a dedicated tab. Layout settings include Grid 1, Timeline, List Left/Right Even-Odd, and Overlay Content Box sub-layouts.

Timeline can display content vertically or horizontally. Set its maximum width, orientation, line width, dot style, position, and size. Dates can appear inline, in the gutter, or on a badge, with optional grouping by year and month.

Set how interactive displays behave

Accordion themes include With Thumbnail, Numbered FAQ, Split Panel, and Minimal Lines. Choose whether multiple panels can stay open, adjust animation speed, choose from 12 additional indicator icon sets, and apply Lift or Zoom hover animations.

Ticker settings control direction, speed, interval, height, visible post count, and whether playback pauses while the pointer is over it. News ticker settings also include a label, theme, type, and animation. These options can present headlines, announcements, or compact news bars.

Choose and load content

Select standard posts, pages, or custom post types. Filter results by category, tag, author, keyword, or custom taxonomy; set ordering and offsets; and include or exclude exact posts by ID. Pro query presets offer quicker configurations for Popular, Random, Sticky, Most Comments, Related Posts, and other supported selections.

Readers can view results with pagination, previous and next navigation, load more controls, or infinite scroll. AJAX-based loading can display additional posts without reloading the page. Post view tracking and popularity sorting can help surface frequently viewed content.

Adjust the display and styling

Choose whether to show featured images, titles, metadata, excerpts, and read more links. Available metadata includes dates, authors, and categories. Adjust alignment, typography, padding, colors, borders, shadows, hover animation, and backgrounds, with responsive behavior for mobile, tablet, and desktop screens. Shortcode support lets you place post blocks elsewhere on the website.

Add a block in the editor

  1. Open a page or post in the WordPress block editor.
  2. Select the plus icon and find Advanced Post Block in its category.
  3. Add the block, choose a Pro layout or template, then select the post type and query settings.
