Arrange content in table cells
WP Table Builder Pro is a paid WordPress table-building edition for responsive tables with content organized in rows and columns. It can be used for comparison, pricing, and list tables, as well as other table layouts.
Choose the number of rows and columns, then generate the table. Drag components from the left panel into individual cells and use each element's customization options to adjust its content.
Elements for table content
WP Table Builder includes seven elements:
- Text for written content.
- Image for visual content.
- List for grouped points or capabilities.
- Button for button content in a cell.
- Star Rating for rating shows.
- Custom HTML for HTML-based content.
- Shortcode for shortcode content.
Adjust the table structure
Cell management mode lets you add rows or columns, merge cells, and split cells. These controls let you revise the structure after generating the table.
To make one, go to Table Builder > Add New, choose the row and column counts, and click Generate. Drag elements into cells, make your edits, and save the table. To embed it in a post or page, use its shortcode. Find that shortcode under Embed at the top of the builder or in the All Tables list under the Table Builder menu.
Import and export tables
Import tables from CSV or XML files. You can select one file or supply multiple files in a ZIP archive. Tables created with TablePress can also be imported.
Export tables in CSV or XML format. For moving a WP Table Builder table to another website, XML preserves table settings and is identified as the better choice.
Install the add-on
PHP 5.6 or higher is required. In WordPress, open the Plugins page, select Add New, and choose the extension ZIP file from your computer. Activate it from the Plugins menu; the Table Builder menu will then be available for creating and managing tables.
