YourChannel Pro for YouTube Video Displays in WordPress

Place selected YouTube content in WordPress

When a page or post needs a video show, YourChannel Pro lets you configure one in a visual builder and insert it with a shortcode. Preview the setup, then add the shortcode to a page, post or custom field.

For a channel or playlist display, enter a YouTube username or channel ID, select the available options, save the configuration and copy its generated shortcode. The Pro version also works with playlist videos, videos found through a search term, comments and custom playlists created by entering video IDs.

Choose which content and details to display

Available display components are optional. Depending on the selected configuration, you can show uploaded videos, playlists, total video and view counts, single videos, playlist videos, search results or comments.

Configure playback and layout

Choose lightbox or inline playback and one of seven video thumbnail styles. Other settings include autoplay, responsive presentation, RTL support, font icons and smooth transitions.

Plugin documents load only on pages where the shortcode is present. A cache system is included for fast loading, and shortcode instructions are available in the post editor.

Translation and video availability

YourChannel Pro includes a built-in GDPR overlay and a quick form for translating interface terms such as Videos, Playlists and Loading. The add-on is translation ready.

Unlisted and private YouTube videos and playlists cannot be listed. The selected content must be available through the supported public sources.

Install and add a video display

  1. Install and activate YourChannel Pro in WordPress.
  2. Open the visual builder and enter a YouTube username or channel ID.
  3. Click Check, save the configuration and choose the content to display.
  4. Select playback, thumbnail, autoplay and layout options as needed.
  5. Copy the generated shortcode into a page, post or custom field.

To change the display later, return to the builder and adjust the content selection or presentation settings.
