Organize related content into tabs
Responsive Tabs Pro groups FAQs, product details, or documentation into horizontal, vertical, accordion, or scrollable tab layouts. Create tab sets without coding, then add them to a page with the Responsive Tabs block or a shortcode.
Choose a layout for the content
Horizontal tabs arrange sections in a row, while vertical tabs place them in a column. Accordion tabs display content in expandable sections. Vertical tabs automatically switch to an accordion on mobile screens.
When horizontal tab titles overflow, they can collapse into a More menu. Pro also provides scrollable horizontal tabs with drag-to-scroll and left and right arrow buttons.
Build and place tab sets
Add tabs, set their order, select colors for borders, backgrounds, tab text, active text, and content, then preview the set. Pro lets you add, edit, reorder, and delete tabs from the Gutenberg block options. You can also place a set with its shortcode, and shortcodes inside tab content can render components such as sliders, forms, and galleries.
Pro controls for styling and organization
- Create unlimited tab sets. The free version enables up to three sets.
- Choose from four visual styles: Boxed, Underline/Line, Pill/Segmented, and Contained/Boxed.
- Add Font Awesome icons to tab headings with a searchable picker and live previews.
- Set a tab to open an external URL instead of displaying content.
- Apply additional custom CSS to an individual tab set.
- Link to a selected tab with a URL parameter such as
?selected_tab=2. - Duplicate tab sets and update tab order in bulk.
WordPress fit and behavior
Use the block for an editor-based workflow or a shortcode in a page or post. The plugin supports WordPress visitor roles and capabilities and works with multisite. New tab sets use the Modern rendering engine, which does not require jQuery; existing sets remain on the legacy engine automatically.
