WP Author, Date and Meta Remover Pro+ lets you conceal or personalize author, date, category, comment and tag metadata on WordPress posts and pages. Use it to adjust details that may not fit evergreen information or your site's presentation.

Set phrases, icons and styles

Assign custom phrases and icons to each supported metadata type. Image formats include GIF, JPG, ICO and PNG; any square picture can be used as an icon, regardless of its size. You can also make a custom WP ADMR Pro+ theme for a blog or business brand.

Built-in tooltips and a training center are included. Multiple class-based divs let you customize or hide metadata, and dot notation lets you combine classes.

Theme integration and compatibility

Pro+ uses jQuery and Ajax to integrate with WordPress themes. It is described as working with free and premium themes, overriding metadata options in a premium theme's ePanel, and displaying author, date, category, comment and tag details when a theme does not include them by default.

The removal approach uses a CSS file linked in the page header, so a child theme is not required for that purpose. Its CSS method is based on standard theme conventions from 2011 to 2014; the broader product description also cites standard themes from 2011 to 2016. Theme structures vary, so compatibility is not universal. If metadata remains visible, ask the theme author how to remove it.
