Cresta Social Share Counter PRO: More Networks and Share Controls

Cresta Social Share Counter PRO includes social networks and display controls to Cresta Social Share Counter. Visitors can share individual posts and pages, while counters can show shares by network and as a total when available.

Networks and counters

PRO adds sharing buttons for Mix.com, Buffer, Reddit, VK, OK.ru, Xing, Tumblr, Telegram, and WhatsApp. The standard plugin's capability list names Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Its changelog entries the removal of Google Plus share counts in version 2.7.4, LinkedIn share counts in version 2.7.7, and the Google Plus button in version 2.9.6. Button and counter availability can differ by service.

Button design and placement

Change button colors and choose from up to 17 styles. PRO also includes up to 30 effect animations, 10 hover button animations, and tooltips that display an additional label when visitors interact with a button.

Choose the content types where buttons appear: pages, posts, media, or custom post types. Buttons can appear before or after content, or float on the page. You can conceal floating buttons when you want sharing controls only within the content.

Use the shortcode [cresta-social-share] to place buttons where needed. If you add it to a text widget, the theme must support shortcodes in text widgets.

Where the buttons appear

The plugin is designed for individual content views, such as a single post, page, or custom post type. It does not show buttons in post listings such as tag and category pages or home feeds. A static homepage can display buttons when pages are enabled; a homepage showing the latest posts does not.

Set up the sharing settings

Install the plugin and open its options. Select the networks, counters, styles, colors, animation effects, and placement settings for your website. Then use the shortcode or the content placement options to show buttons on the selected individual content types.
