PublishPress Planner Pro brings editorial and marketing planning utilities into WordPress. Its calendar, overview, and kanban board let your team examine planned, scheduled, and published content in different ways. The Pro edition also includes configurable notifications, Slack notifications, and reminders.

Work with publication dates

The Content Calendar shows when content is planned and when it was published. Drag an item to a various date to change its publication date. The default view shows WordPress content planned for the next few weeks. Filters narrow the calendar by post status, categories, visitors, or post types, so you can focus on a particular part of the schedule.

Review content by its details or status

Content Overview organizes work by status, categories, or users. Choose which WordPress data appears in its columns, then use the Print button for a printable overview of your plan.

The Content Board groups posts into kanban columns by status. Drag a post between statuses such as Draft, Pending Review, Published, and Scheduled to update its place in the workflow.

Notify contributors and editors

Users can subscribe to notifications for individual posts or through visitor groups. Set up notification workflows around post types, categories, status changes, and other content conditions to keep the relevant people informed about changes.

Slack notifications send updates to a Slack channel, where recipients can also reply without logging into WordPress. Reminder notifications can go out before or after a content entry's publication date. For example, send editors a pre-publication reminder to proofread, or remind team members after publication to promote the content on social media.
