What a preloader controls
A preloader shows a visual while a page or selected part of a site loads. Preloader Premium adds flexible show settings and more than 30 professional templates to the Preloader plugin for WordPress. The add-on also lets you upload a GIF, adjust the preloader size and background color, and choose where it appears and who can see it.
Choose a visual and set its appearance
Select a professional template or upload your own GIF image. Adjust the size and background color to coordinate the loading screen with your website. The Preloader plugin also includes two free templates.
Set the display area and audience
Show the preloader across the entire site or limit it to areas such as the blog page and posts. Audience options let you display it to everyone, visitors only, or logged-in visitors only. These options define both the reach of the loading screen and the people who see it.
Configure the plugin
- Install and activate the plugin on your WordPress site.
- Open the Preloader settings, choose a professional template or upload a GIF, then adjust its size and background color.
- Choose the display areas and audience, then save your settings and review the result on the relevant pages.
If your site uses a caching plugin, clear its cache after saving. If the preloader does not appear, the Integration tab delivers further instructions.
