Popup Box Pro: WordPress Popups with Flexible Triggers

Popup Box Pro includes the free Popup Box capabilities and adds popup formats and controls for WordPress sites. Use modal windows and overlays for notices, forms, promotions, embedded content or shop messages.

Choose a format for the content

The free version includes custom HTML and shortcode popups, plus video, picture, Facebook and notification popups. Shortcodes can show content from other WordPress add-ons. Popup Box Pro includes those features and adds formats for more specific tasks:

Set when and where popups appear

The free version can open a popup when a page loads or when a visitor clicks a selected element. Popup Box Pro adds exit intent, hover over a selected element, visitor inactivity, page view counts and scrolling to a selected element as triggers.

Set schedules, close triggers, redirection and limitation counts. Display rules can also restrict popups by operating system, browser, country or visitor role. Free version controls include display on selected pages or post types, visibility for logged-in users or guests, and an option to conceal popups on mobile.

Adjust the design and manage campaigns

Choose from 5+ prebuilt themes, then adjust popup size, position, animations, colors, borders and typography. Custom CSS is available for further styling. Responsive behavior and a live preview help you review the appearance before publishing.

Email integrations include MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, ActiveCampaign, GetResponse, ConvertKit, Sendinblue and MailerLite. Reports let you review popup activity, and export and import utilities help manage popup configurations.

Set up a popup

1. Install and activate Popup Box Pro on the WordPress site.
2. Create a popup and choose a format, such as a form, countdown, coupon or custom content.
3. Add the content and pick its position and appearance.
4. Set its triggers, schedule, audience rules and close behavior.
5. Review the popup and use reports to monitor campaign activity where needed.
