LoginWP PRO for WordPress Login Redirects

LoginWP PRO is the paid edition of LoginWP, formerly known as Peter’s Login Redirect. It directs WordPress visitors after login or registration according to redirect rules. You can set destinations for individual users, users with specific roles or capabilities, and users who do not match a more specific rule.

Choose destinations by account

Set a rule for each user or group that needs its own destination. For example, a role rule can send a group to a role-specific page while an individual rule directs a selected user elsewhere. A general rule can cover users without a more specific match. You can also set a destination for post-registration.

Use details from the login session

LoginWP can build dynamic URLs at login with {{username}}, {{user_slug}}, and {{website_url}}. LoginWP PRO includes {{current_page}} and {{previous_page}}. The current-page placeholder can return users to the page they were logging in from. The previous-page placeholder uses the prior, or referrer, page after authentication.

Add custom redirect checks

You can add your own code logic before or between the add-on’s normal redirect checks. Examples include directing a user based on their IP address or sending them to a special page on their first login.

Configure and check your redirect flow

Identify the users or conditions that need a destination, then make rules for specific users, roles, capabilities, or unmatched users. Add a post-registration destination if needed, and use placeholders when a destination should be generated dynamically. For custom workflows, add code logic before or between redirect checks. If you use a supported integration, connect the relevant login or registration form.

The plugin uses WordPress’s standard login_redirect hook. If a redirect does not work, another plugin may be using the hook first, or a custom login form may not execute through WordPress’s standard login functions.
