Choose flags and set their proportions
Search among 271 current country, territory, regional and organisation flags. In the block editor, choose the flags, set their size, aspect ratio, captions and layout, then check the real-time preview. A fixed aspect ratio keeps each flag’s shape consistent as it scales without losing quality: 4:3 is the default, and 1:1 is available for square displays.
Match a block to the content
The underlying add-on offers three dynamic blocks:
- SVG Flag renders a lightweight flag with CSS.
- SVG Flag Image creates an accessible picture with country-name alternative text.
- SVG Flag Grid arranges flags in a responsive gallery with up to eight columns, adjustable spacing, captions, and square or 4:3 proportions.
SVG Flags Pro adds linked cards and responsive linked grids for displays that lead to other pages. Use the searchable directory when visitors need to locate a particular entry; headings, captions and tooltips can add context around the flags.
Use the editor or shortcodes
Build and preview displays in the block editor without writing shortcode syntax. Shortcodes are also available for classic-editor content and templates. Use [svg-flag flag="gb"] for a single flag, [svg-flag-image flag="fr"] for an accessible image, or [svg-flag-grid flags="gb,us,ca,fr" columns="4" caption="true"] for a gallery. Countries and territories use alpha-2 codes, alongside the additional regional and organisation codes in the bundled flag-icons library.
Install and add a show
Install SVG Flags Pro in your WordPress website, then add its blocks in the block editor or use a shortcode in classic-editor content or a template. Search for flags, configure the layout and presentation, and review the live preview as you build the page.
