Set up the checkout flow

Fluid Checkout PRO extends the WooCommerce checkout with multi-step and single-step layouts designed for mobile devices and larger screens. The layout can follow the site’s styling. In a multi-step flow, customers can enter shipping details before billing; a single-step layout displays the checkout fields together.

Optional fields can stay hidden until customers open them, and most checkout fields are validated as information is entered. Customer details can be saved between page refreshes and return visits, while payment information is not saved. Returning customers can skip steps when all required details are present and validated, then review or change their information. They can also log in without leaving checkout. Keyboard-only navigation and screen reader support are included.

PRO controls for checkout, cart, and orders

Choose from the Classic, Boxed, Split, and Minimalist styling templates. Customers can change product quantities or remove entries directly from checkout. The cart page can include cross-sells, a coupon field, and AJAX-processed updates. Order received, account order-view, and order-pay pages can use layouts consistent with checkout.

• Place express checkout buttons at the top of checkout.
• Use account matching to associate an order with an existing customer account without requiring the customer to log in first.
• Choose where the billing address appears, or combine billing and shipping into one address section.
• Format and validate phone numbers based on the selected country on checkout and account pages.
• Hide the shipping address when a local pickup method is selected.
• Let customers add a gift message for printing with packing slips generated by supported invoice and packing slip plugins.
• Choose from additional coupon field positions.

Widget areas let stores place trust symbols, such as accepted payment methods, security badges, reviews, or testimonials, in different checkout positions. Settings, template documents, filter hooks, and action hooks provide ways to adjust the layout and behavior.

Bundle and add-on options

The Fluid Checkout PRO Bundle plan is described as including all PRO capabilities and add-ons. Listed add-ons include Google Address Autocomplete for WooCommerce for address search and autofill, an address book for saving multiple customer addresses, and EU-VAT Assistant for collecting and validating EU VAT numbers.

Install and configure

Install Fluid Checkout PRO on the WooCommerce website where you plan to configure checkout. Select a checkout layout and adjust the available options, design options, and functions. If using the PRO Bundle plan, configure its included add-ons for the store’s checkout requirements.
