Choose a source for ticker content

T4B News Ticker Pro includes a horizontal news ticker or scrolling text bar to a WordPress site. Use it for breaking news, recent updates, announcements, trending posts, promotional messages, or custom links.

Content can come from recent blog posts filtered by category or tag, custom text and links entered in the WordPress dashboard, RSS feeds, or JSON data. Pro can pull scrolling text automatically from RSS or JSON sources.

Tune movement and appearance

Animation styles include fade, slide, ticker, and scroll. The Pro feature set adds seven animation effects and continuous smooth scrolling without breaks. You can adjust scrolling speed, font colors, and text sizes in the plugin options, or start with one of 12 ready-to-use styling templates.

Manage separate ticker configurations

Multiple different tickers can appear on the same page, each presenting its own content, such as current posts, announcements, or external feed entries. Duplicate an existing ticker with one click to reuse its configuration. You can also export and import custom ticker settings between websites.

Give users control over scrolling

When scroll mode is used, visitors can pause, play, or skip ticker items. The Pro feature set also includes full support for right-to-left languages.

Place a configured ticker on a page

After installing T4B News Ticker Pro, make and configure a ticker in the extension settings. Choose its content source, select a template or set the appearance, then configure animation, speed, colors, and text size. Decide whether visitors need controls in scroll mode and set up the ticker for its intended page area.

When the content and design are ready, copy the provided shortcode into a page, post, or widget area. Repeat these steps for additional tickers, or duplicate an existing configuration.
