Restrict Premium controls WordPress content access
Restrict Premium controls who can see posts, pages, custom post types, categories, widgets, menu items, Gutenberg blocks, REST API content, and selected site areas. Rules can match everyone, logged-in users, specific roles or capabilities, or the author of a post or page. You can also base a rule on a specified URL parameter, referring site, or cookie, then choose whether to show or conceal the item for matching users.

Set visibility rules across a WordPress website
Restrict Premium controls who can see posts, pages, custom post types, categories, widgets, menu items, Gutenberg blocks, REST API content, and selected site areas. Rules can match everyone, logged-in users, specific roles or capabilities, or the author of a post or page. You can also base a rule on a specified URL parameter, referring site, or cookie, then choose whether to show or conceal the item for matching users.
These controls can support membership websites, ticket-based content, customer areas, and campaign landing pages where visitors need various access.
Choose how much content a rule covers
Set default visibility for an entire post type, or use shortcodes to restrict part or all of an individual post or page. In the block editor, each Gutenberg block has a Restrict panel. The Restricted Content container block can group blocks under a restriction and include an optional custom message. You can also apply rules to complete post categories.
Menus, widgets, and login forms
Show or hide widgets for different users. Menu items can be shown or hidden for logged-in users, selected roles, users with a specific capability, or logged-out visitors. Place a login form on a post or page in either the Gutenberg or Classic Editor.
When can a purchase grant access?
Restrict Premium integrates with Tickera, Venuera, WooCommerce, and Easy Digital Downloads. Depending on the connected service, rules can grant visibility to users who made any purchase, bought a specific product, purchased a ticket, bought a ticket for a particular event, or selected a specific ticket type. WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads can also provide limited-time access after a user purchases a specified product.
With Simple URLs, you can protect a redirect using Restrict criteria. If a user does not meet them, choose a specific page to display or send the visitor to another URL.
Set site-wide access and configure the add-on
Site Lock limits the entire website to logged-in users. Restrict Premium can also limit REST API access to logged-in users. A white label option is included for sites that need a less branded administration experience.
Install Restrict Premium in WordPress, then configure visibility rules for the content or site components you want to control. Choose an audience or integration-based condition, decide whether to show or hide the item for matching visitors, and add an optional restricted-content message where available. The extension documentation covers content restrictions, WooCommerce integration, Simple URLs, and related settings.
