Internal Linking of Related Contents Premium places related posts inside WordPress articles. Automatic matching can use categories or post tags. Premium settings add matching by post title or custom keywords, while the AI-powered feature can use OpenAI or local Ollama models to select content by meaning and context. Recommendations help readers find related material as they view.

Set matching and show rules

Add custom keywords to individual posts, or use bulk editing to add or remove keywords for selected posts. Choose which devices display related content, and exclude categories, post tags, or individual posts. Related content also works with specific custom post types and WordPress pages. For pages, recommendations can link child pages or use custom keywords.

You can remove the call-to-action text from related posts. AMP support is available for supported display needs.

Choose placement and presentation

Alongside inline recommendations, you can group related articles at a chosen location in your content. Choose the sort order for recommendations.

Premium includes 12 additional templates for related content sections. You can display a placeholder image when a related post has no featured image, or choose a featured image for manually selected posts added through a shortcode, Gutenberg block, or Elementor widget. Image controls also let you hide posts without featured pictures and set custom image width and height.

Review link and click activity

Internal link counts display how many related content links the extension generates across posts and pages. Counts update automatically, and tools let you recalculate outdated values.

Click statistics include filters, hourly charts, device data, and detailed click events for reviewing how users interact with related links.

Use Gutenberg blocks and Elementor widgets

Gutenberg blocks can display a selected related post using the extension options, with template and display options available in the editor. Elementor widgets provide the same selected-post display and customization within Elementor.

Installation and setup

Install and activate Internal Linking of Related Contents to enable the plugin. Its admin page provides settings for related content behavior, tracking, and display. Configure the search engine, exclusions, templates, images, and integrations to determine how related posts appear across your WordPress content.
