Choose popup types and display triggers

The Popup Builder plugin includes image, HTML, Facebook, and subscription popups. The PRO package adds iframe, video, and shortcode popups. Product information also lists settings such as Web Push Notification, Exit Intent, Mailchimp, WooCommerce, and Login popups.

Popups can open on page load, after a delay, or when a visitor clicks or hovers over a link or element. Exit intent is also available. You can put multiple popups on a page, but only one can open automatically on page load; set others to open on click.

Set where and how popups appear

Country filters let you allow or block display in selected locations. Other advanced controls can disable closing, prevent display on mobile devices, or display a popup only once. You can also configure a redirect after a visitor clicks popup content, or add an opening sound through the Effects panel.

Customize design and connect integrations

Adjust backgrounds, borders, overlays, text, colors, and other popup components. Custom CSS and JavaScript provide further design flexibility. Listed integrations include WooCommerce, MailChimp, Contact Form 7, WPML, Polylang, Ninja Forms, Gravity Forms, TablePress, Formidable Forms, WP Google Maps, HTML5 Maps, Review Builder, and Divi Builder.

Create and place a popup

Install and activate Popup Builder, make a popup, and choose its type. Configure its design, conditions, and events, then choose where it should appear. For automatic display, choose the popup in the “Select popup on page load” area of the page or post editor and update the page. For a link-triggered popup, add the class sg-confirm-popup-#popupid to the link.

Before upgrading from the Free version, disable the Delete popup data option in Popup settings to preserve existing popup data.
