Open Graphite Pro for WordPress Social Previews
Open Graphite Pro lets you select the title, description, image and object type shown when WordPress content is shared. These sharing details are managed separately from the original page or post. Set homepage details in the add-on options, then choose which post types to enable. For individual content, use the Open Graphite metabox to enter values or draw on existing titles, text or excerpts, featured pictures and object types.

Extend settings across content and stores
Pro works with custom post types, WooCommerce products and product categories. Automatic defaults can reduce repeated entry, while character limits help keep titles and descriptions within your chosen lengths. Pro can also create a Facebook-ready image crop at 1200 × 630 pixels, with an Open Graph Sizes tab in the Media Library.
Settings include an X (Twitter) username and card type. Pinterest settings can allow saving, disable rich pins or deny saving. Enhanced Slack sharing adds the author's name and reading time.
Review previews and check Open Graph data
Homepage previews are available for Facebook, LinkedIn and X. Pro adds previews for individual posts and pages; mobile and desktop views are available for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Open Graph quality indicators, a check tool and links to platform testing utilities help you review the sharing data before publishing. You can also enable excerpts for pages and choose which visitor roles may use the metabox.
Facebook cache refresh has setup requirements
Open Graphite Pro can ask Facebook to refresh cached page details when a published post is saved. This requires both a Facebook App ID and App Secret in the extension settings. Without them, Facebook may continue showing previously cached information; social services can retain Open Graph data for 24 hours or longer.
Check for duplicate Open Graph tags
Another plugin that outputs Open Graph tags can create duplicates. Open Graphite includes settings to avoid conflicts with Yoast SEO and Jetpack. For other conflicts, inspect the page source for og: tags and disable one plugin's output.
Install and get support
Install and activate Open Graphite Pro, configure the homepage and enabled post types, then add page-level sharing details in the metabox. License holders receive one-on-one priority support.
