Social content connected to WordPress

EmbedSocial Pro is one of three listed paid editions, alongside Pro Plus and Premium. The official add-on connects a WordPress site to tools for collecting, managing, and publishing reviews, social feeds, photos, and galleries. An EmbedSocial account is required, and connected accounts need the relevant permissions.

Supported services include Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google, Twitter, Vimeo, Yelp, and YouTube. Available content depends on the selected tool and connected accounts. Feed tools can show posts, mentions, videos, and hashtag feeds. Gallery tools can display albums and photos from social accounts or hashtags.

Review collection and moderation

Review tools can combine feedback from Google, Facebook, Yelp, and other business review sources in one widget. Manage and respond to testimonials, display photo reviews, and choose which reviews appear on your site. Settings include a minimum rating and sorting by likes, comments, or rating.

Feeds, galleries, and widget layouts

Feed tools support social posts, videos, hashtag content, and shoppable feeds with product tags or call-to-action buttons. Feed options can filter posts by date or keywords and show full posts or images. Some feed tools also provide analytics such as post performance and clicks.

Choose from more than 10 layouts and templates, including grid, masonry, carousel, and slider settings. Gallery settings can include columns, pagination or lazy loading, lightbox display, captions, and a like button. Custom CSS lets you adjust widget styling to fit your WordPress theme.

Account setup and publishing

Install and activate the plugin, then sign in to an EmbedSocial account. For the review process, choose a pricing plan, connect Google and Facebook accounts, generate reviews, make and tailor a widget, then copy its code and embed it on your site. Other tools follow the same general flow: connect a supported source, choose content and layout, configure moderation where available, and publish the widget.

The plugin listing warns that it has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases, so compatibility with newer releases may be an issue.
