Design and reuse WordPress buttons

MaxButtons Pro makes buttons, share buttons, and social icons for WordPress. Adjust a design in the editor and see changes in its live preview. Create unlimited buttons or copy an existing design as a starting point, then place buttons in your content with shortcodes.

Responsive controls let you personalize buttons for various devices and screen sizes. Use color pickers, CSS3 styling, gradients, text shadows, and box shadows, and preview designs against different background colors. Predefined defaults provide a starting point; custom CSS gives you per-button styling control. The add-on works with modern browsers and degrades gracefully in older ones.

Set button text and appearance

• Add icons or images and adjust their placement and size. The included Font Awesome 5 collection offers icon options.
• Add a second line of text and set its font, size, and placement. Choose typography from the included Google Fonts collection.
• Use variables from WordPress or your theme in button text and links.
• Search button collections and import or export configurations for backup or transfer.

Share content and link to social profiles

Share button sets cover Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google+, StumbleUpon, Reddit, WhatsApp, and Buffer, with email and print icons. To promote a social profile, choose an icon or make a button, add the profile link, and place its shortcode on a page.

Use buttons with other WordPress utilities

MaxButtons Pro integrates with WPBakery Page Builder, Contact Form 7, Beaver Builder, and Easy Digital Downloads purchase and checkout buttons. It also works with Gutenberg, Elementor, SiteOrigin, and popup builders that open modals. Google Analytics event tracking records button interactions for viewing in Google Analytics without coding.

Button packs and free icons are available for designing buttons, with additional professionally designed button sets. The button library contains more than 6,000 buttons. Reuse a design and pass different text and URL values through shortcode parameters.

Create and place a button

Install and activate the add-on, open MaxButtons from the WordPress admin menu, and pick Add New. Configure the button and its required options, then select Save. MaxButtons generates a shortcode such as [maxbutton id="17"] or [maxbutton name="My Button Name"].

Place the shortcode in your content to show the button. Add text and URL parameters when you want several buttons to share one design but use different labels and destinations.
