Design Upgrade for LearnDash Pro: Styling Controls and Interfaces

Design Upgrade for LearnDash Pro includes more than 110 design options in the WordPress Customizer. Use them to adapt course and student interfaces to your WordPress theme, with controls for common adjustments that might otherwise require custom CSS.

Course and profile controls

Adjust course content list backgrounds, text colors, hover effects, separators, and count visibility. Progress bar options cover color, border radius, height, stripes, and an animation when the bar loads. Set button background and text colors, then customize the [ld_profile] area with options for avatar shape, an edit-profile link, and the visibility of profile and quiz information.

You can display or conceal selected course and profile capabilities, disable expand and collapse links, and show content expanded by default. Login and registration popups have more than 10 design options. Focus Mode has more than 20 options, including seven for comments.

Options for grids, reports, and add-ons

• Course Navigation Widget: 15 design options.
• Course Grid Add-On: 20 design options.
• Achievements Add-On: 10 additional customization options.
• Tin Canny Reporting: 12 design options for front-end reports.
• Alerts: nine custom colors and additional options; tooltips have background and text color controls.
• Uncanny Groups: button, border-radius, and other front-end styling improvements.

Template styles and theme CSS

The add-on detects whether the LearnDash 3.0 or Legacy template is active and assigns styles accordingly. Design updates cover Focus Mode navigation and its sidebar tray, course sections, mobile menus, comments, registration pages, profiles, course grids, pagination, assignments, and the User Status widget. Styles are designed so CSS in a child theme or WordPress Additional CSS can take precedence.

Other included design work covers WisdmLabs ratings, reviews, and feedback components, along with selected LearnDash group registration interfaces. Print styles and right-to-left language support are also included.

Set up the design

Install and activate Design Upgrade for LearnDash Pro, then open the WordPress Customizer. Review the available controls, adjust the sections relevant to your courses, preview the result, and publish the options when the layout fits your website.
