WP TripAdvisor Review Slider Pro

WP TripAdvisor Review Slider Pro imports customer reviews into your WordPress database, where your website can display the stored content without requesting reviews from TripAdvisor on every page view. Add multiple TripAdvisor business locations, download reviews for each source, and select the source shown by each template. Pro also works with Facebook Page, Google, Yelp, and more than 50 other review websites, with an option to check TripAdvisor for new reviews once a day using a cron job.

Choose how reviews appear

Build templates for various areas of your site and add them to posts, pages, or widgets with a shortcode, widget, or template function. Display reviews in a slider, responsive grid, or list. Sliders can display multiple reviews per row, and templates can be filtered by review source to show the relevant location's reviews.

Add a summary badge above, beside, or on its own, with the average rating and review count for the selected source. A floating badge can open a review panel when clicked. Templates include additional styles and controls for slider movement, autoplay speed, arrows and dots, colors, fonts, avatars, reviewer names, source icons, and read-more links. On mobile, visitors can advance the slider with a finger swipe.

Manage the reviews in each template

Filter reviews by rating, conceal reviews without text, and sort by newest or randomly. From the Review List, hide, edit, or delete individual reviews. You can also choose which reviews appear in a particular template. Downloaded photos added by reviewers can be displayed and opened in a lightbox.

Additional display settings include different date formats and a Load More button for pagination. The slider can pause while a user hovers over it.

Review tools and reporting

Pro includes charts and graphs for reviewing trends, CSV export, email notifications when new low reviews are found, and a front-end review submission form. Review summaries can also be used in Google Search result markup, which the add-on can create automatically. Child-theme style overrides provide another way to adjust the presentation.

Install and add a review template

Install and activate the add-on, then open its TripAdvisor review settings in WordPress. Find the business page you want to use, copy its address from your browser, and paste it into the Get TripAdvisor Reviews page. Download reviews, create a template, and place it in a post, page, or widget with a shortcode, widget, or template function. For multiple locations, add each business address and assign the matching source to its template.
