Woody Pro: WordPress Code Snippet Manager
Woody Pro handles custom code and reusable content from the WordPress admin, so you can add snippets without editing theme files. Choose where each snippet appears and whether it is active. Review code before enabling it: unverified or outdated PHP and scripts may affect site security or stability.

Choose a snippet type and location
Create PHP snippets for functions, hooks, classes, and global variables; JavaScript snippets for analytics, integrations, or interactive features; CSS for custom styles; and HTML for markup. Text snippets hold reusable content, ad snippets hold ads or banners, and universal snippets can combine PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Insert snippets in the website header or footer, before or after post and page content, around a specific paragraph, in archives and taxonomy pages, or between posts on archive pages. WooCommerce locations include product lists, single products, product summaries, and positions after a product title, price, or excerpt.
Set conditions for when snippets execute
Woody Pro adds conditions for device type, browser, operating system, JavaScript availability, ad blocker detection, visitor country, visit depth, time of day, and total visits. Other available conditions include user role, registration date, page, post type or taxonomy, referrer, and cookie value. Combine conditions with AND and OR logic to control where a snippet is shown or run. Conditions control its context; they do not verify what the code does.
Reuse snippets and manage changes
Insert snippets in posts, pages, widgets, and page builders with shortcodes. Pro lets you set custom shortcode names for clearer, portable references. Organize snippets with tags, cloning, and priorities; enable or disable them and import or export them between sites.
Pro automatically saves snippet revisions so you can review earlier versions, compare changes, and restore a previous version. Cloud-based templates let you save snippets and reuse them across multiple websites. Woody does not support WordPress multisite installations.
Edit and enable code
The built-in editor offers syntax highlighting, line numbers, configurable indentation and tab size, optional line wrapping, automatic bracket and quote closing, and highlighting for matching variables and functions. To set up a snippet, make it in the WordPress admin, choose its type and placement, add any conditions, review the code, then enable it when ready.
