WooCommerce Extra Fees Pro makes named fee rules for the cart and checkout. Set each fee as a fixed amount or a percentage, select its tax treatment and tax class, and make a service fee optional so customers can decide whether to add it.
Choose what each fee checks
Rules can use the cart subtotal, minimum order amount, coupons, quantity, weight and product count. Target products, categories, tags, attributes, subscription products, shipping classes or WooCommerce shipping zones. Customer conditions include country, state, postcode, visitor and user role; IP-based country detection can also be used.
Set various fees for quantity, weight, subtotal or product count, and check whether a product quantity is or is not a multiple of a value. Pro rules can match numeric product attributes, exact sets of products or categories, and customer order history, including first orders and order totals or purchase amounts over a period.
Included shortcodes can calculate selected product or category quantities with [selected_product_qty], all cart units with [qty], or the number of different products in a category with [selected_product_count]. Use these counts in fee calculations, such as charging per entry.
Amounts can depend on shipping, payment and timing
Rules can check selected payment or shipping methods, currency, and a scheduled date range or day of the week. Pro capabilities also allow a time range within a day. For selected delivery or pickup dates, the customer's delivery or pickup choice, or the selected delivery or pickup day, the plugin works with an order date and time add-on.
Percentage fees can be based on the subtotal after discounts. Pro options can also include shipping cost in that calculation. Pro rules can combine multiple fees and apply the combined fee when all specified fees apply or when any one of them applies.
Control how customers see fees
Give fees separate titles and descriptions. Pro lets you set messages beside an optional fee checkbox and an applied fee, and display a fee description as a checkout tooltip. Optional fee checkboxes can appear on the cart page when it uses the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode.
Set up and check your rules
Install the plugin on a WordPress website running WooCommerce. Create one or more fees, choose an amount type and tax options, then set the conditions for applying each fee. For IP-based country rules, configure MaxMind GeoIP in WooCommerce Integration settings or use Cloudflare's IP geolocation header when using its CDN. Check the cart and checkout to confirm the fee amount, optional setting, message and tax behavior. Both the free and Pro versions are HPOS compatible.
