WordPress plugin
WP Image Zoom Pro for Posts, Products, and Galleries
WP Image Zoom Pro adds a closer view to images in WordPress posts and pages, product content, portfolios, and galleries. Visitors can inspect image details through a lens over the image or a separate zoom window. The effect depends on the source image being larger than the version displayed on the website.
How picture magnification works
WP Image Zoom Pro adds a closer view to images in WordPress posts and pages, product content, portfolios, and galleries. Visitors can inspect image details through a lens over the image or a separate zoom window. The effect depends on the source image being larger than the version displayed on the website.
Zoom styles and controls
Choose from inner zoom, round lens, square lens, or outer zoom with a separate Zoom Window. The window can appear to the left or right of the image and adjusts to the browser width. Pro zoom levels can be set to 2x or 3x the displayed image size.
Visitors can use the mousewheel to zoom. Animation easing gives the lens a delayed follow as it moves with the pointer, while a fade effect controls how the enlarged area appears and disappears. Settings include lens size, border color and size, shadow, and rounded corners.
Images, products, and galleries
Apply zoom to images through the WordPress editor or to suitable page-builder Image components by adding the zoooom CSS class. Builder guidance covers Gutenberg, WPBakery, SiteOrigin, Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, Avia, Fusion, Brizy, and Tatsu. Elementor works with its Image Size options except Custom.
The Pro edition supports zoom across image galleries, WooCommerce product variations, portfolio images, Easy Digital Downloads featured images, and MarketPress content. It also supports SureCart product content, lightboxes, carousels, multiple images on one page, and custom themes. The plugin adds zoom to an existing gallery; it does not replace the gallery itself.
Image and theme requirements
Magnification needs a larger uploaded image than the one shown on the page. Some themes replace the default product gallery with their own carousel, gallery, or slider, so compatibility depends on how that component is built. Check the effect with your theme, lightbox, carousel, and image sizes before publishing.
Installation and configuration
Install WP Image Zoom Pro in WordPress, then select a zoom type and adjust its visual options in the administration interface. Apply zoom through the editor, add the zoooom class to supported page-builder images, or configure supported product and gallery content.
