Quick Featured Images Pro: Bulk Changes Have No Undo
Set, replace, or remove featured images across selected posts, pages, and supported custom post types. Assign one image or select several to assign in random order. Existing images stay unchanged by default; you can enable overwriting or limit an action to posts without a featured image.
Apply featured-picture changes in bulk
Set, replace, or remove featured images across selected posts, pages, and supported custom post types. Assign one image or select several to assign in random order. Existing images stay unchanged by default; you can enable overwriting or limit an action to posts without a featured image.
When assigning several images, you can use each one only once. If there are more posts than selected images, leave the remaining posts unchanged or remove excess featured images after all selected images have been used. Preview the target content before applying an action. Changes have no undo.
Filter the entries you want to update
Narrow bulk actions by post type, category, tag, post format, author, custom taxonomy, featured-image size, audio or video content, search term, status, time, or parent page. Search can check post titles and content, or titles only.
Choose a source for the image
Use the first post image available in the media library, the first image from the current website, or the first external post image. Images from the website or an external source can be copied or downloaded into the media library if they are not already there. Other sources include the first attached image, the first image in a standard WordPress gallery, an embedded content thumbnail such as a YouTube thumbnail, and the first image in a NextGen Gallery.
Set image rules for future posts
Create presets for recurring tasks and rules that assign a default featured image when a post is saved. Rules can use post properties such as the first content image, taxonomy, tag, category, author, or post type. Pro also supports external featured images, multiple images assigned at random, post format, and a search string in the post title. You can change or remove rules as publishing needs change.
Make individual edits from content lists
Sortable featured-image columns display assigned images in post, page, and supported custom post type lists, with actions to set, replace, edit, or remove an image without leaving the list. A media library column can show which posts use each image. You can also remove database entries for featured images whose files no longer exist.
Review before running a bulk action
Choose an action and image source, apply filters and settings, then preview the targeted content before running the change. For recurring publishing processes, configure default-image rules for future posts.
