An auto-refresh interval helps keep catalog data updated. Configure the stock filter to exclude out-of-stock products from a feed. Start with the default field mapping, then adjust fields and their default values. The add-on can use a variation description when one is present and replace capital letters in product titles.
Choose products and set catalog values
Pro controls determine which products enter each feed and how selected product details are represented.
- Filter by category, product type, sale status, stock status, or tags. Product types include simple, variable, grouped, and affiliate.
- Remove variations when variation-level listings are not needed.
- Set the price for the main ID of a variable product using the smaller price, bigger price, or first variation price.
- Set a brand for products without one or apply a global brand value.
- Set a condition when one is missing or apply a global condition value. Condition is identified as required for feed acceptance.
Create and connect a feed
- Open Product Catalog Feed, select Add new feed, and name the feed.
- Review the mapping options and select Generate the Feed.
- In the feed list, select View. The XML feed opens in a new window; copy its URL.
For a Facebook catalog, make a product catalog, select Add Product Feed, name the feed to match the one on your website, and select a currency. Paste the feed URL to upload it. Review the upload status messages and open the Products section to inspect the catalog items. Before creating a Dynamic Ads template, associate the catalog with the pixel ID used on your website.
