Choose show and styling options
Core options control the comments box title and its text color, font size, font family, and title position. You can also choose the display location, set the box width, select comment ordering and the number of remarks, and enter a language code such as en_US or de_DE.
Facebook Comments Pro includes a color scheme selector, background color, and a separate position setting for the comments area, along with 39 animation effects. The title position setting applies to the title; the Pro position setting applies to the comments box. Premium support covers questions and reported add-on bugs.
Add the comments box to a page or post
Use the plugin shortcode on pages or posts. Its values can set the Facebook App ID and current URL, title and title styling, width, background color, animation, language, and comment count. Documented attribute names include facebook_app_id, curent_url, title_text, title_text_color, title_text_font_size, title_text_font_famely, title_text_position, width, count_of_comments, bg_color, animation_effect, and locale. The plugin also works with PHP placement with WordPress's do_shortcode().
Moderate comments and notification limits
When signed into Facebook, users can access moderation options for each comment on the front end or moderate from the Facebook App page. The plugin does not provide a notification when a new comment is left; the listing attributes this limitation to the API.
Install and configure
Upload the plugin's .zip file through WordPress's plugin installer without extracting it, then install and activate the plugin. Enter the Facebook App ID in the main options, set the display preferences, and add a shortcode to the pages or posts that should display the box. PHP placement is available for programmatic use.
