Choose what to protect
Protect pages, posts, selected sections, child pages, or the entire site. For stores, protection can cover WooCommerce pages, products, and checkout. Cookies can grant access across multiple protected areas, and you can customize the password form's styling, labels, and descriptions.
A page refresh is the default after password entry. To reveal protected content without a refresh, enable inline unlocking in Advanced Unlock Behaviour.
Assign passwords and access rules
Assign various passwords to different visitors or groups, or make and manage password lists in the WordPress administration area. Quick Edit and Bulk Edit can apply protection to multiple pages. Access can also be granted according to a user's role or email address. Google reCAPTCHA and hCAPTCHA are available as additional checks.
Set limits and share access
Passwords can expire after a set number of uses, after their first use, or after a time interval measured in hours, days, or weeks. Passster Pro tracks password use and when passwords are due to expire.
Encrypted unlock links let users open protected content without entering a password. Links can be shortened automatically for easier sharing. Passster Pro also includes utilities to track and prevent concurrent password sharing.
Protect WooCommerce content and review usage
With the WooCommerce integration, you can sell access to protected content. Passwords are generated and emailed automatically after purchase. Usage statistics display when and how often passwords are used, with the first usage date, optional IP information, and browser details available in reports.
Set up Passster Pro
Install Passster in WordPress, activate the paid edition, and configure protection in the plugin options. Choose the content or store areas to protect, set passwords or access rules, and customize the user-facing form. For larger sites, prepare password lists and use Quick Edit or Bulk Edit to apply protection to multiple pages.
Primary texts and information can be changed in the administration area. The plugin can also be translated with .po/.mo documents and is compatible with WPML and Polylang.
