Set limits and file rules
Assign upload limits to WordPress roles such as Administrator, Editor, and Author. You can also set a storage limit for an individual user; that limit overrides global settings. File type restrictions let you allow selected formats for a user and block others, such as ZIP or executable documents where appropriate.
Review activity and attachment use
Upload logs record the user, file name, size, type, and timestamp. Attachment details display where a file is used across posts, pages, or products. File sizes also appear in media library columns and attachment details.
A graphical dashboard summarizes recent uploads, overall usage, media library activity, and the top uploader list. Administrators can export upload logs and generate detailed reports for analysis. EasyMedia Pro can automatically install and configure the main plugin if it is needed.
Start from the WordPress dashboard
Install and activate EasyMedia, then open Media > EasyMedia. Review the detected WordPress and server upload limits, execution time, memory limit, and other system information. Set the upload controls, user or role limits, file restrictions, and reporting tools for your website.
EasyMedia was previously named MaxUploader. Existing settings remain intact when updating from MaxUploader to EasyMedia. A server-imposed upload limit may still need to be changed through your hosting provider. EasyMedia Pro includes priority support and regular updates.
