Set editor choices for roles and content types
PRO includes controls for websites where various user roles or custom post types need different editor settings. Administrators can select which editor is available to selected roles or content types. The added controls also cover:
- Remembering the last editor a user used.
- Displaying post states in the editing process.
- Excluding selected posts or pages with autocomplete.
This setup lets a website use classic editing for posts and widgets while tailoring editor choices to its customers and content areas.
Add PRO alongside the free plugin
Install and activate the free Classic Editor and Classic Widgets plugin first. Then install and activate Classic Editor and Classic Widgets PRO alongside it. Adding PRO does not require reinstalling or deactivating the free plugin. Premium support is included.
