Melapress Login Security Premium lets administrators apply login security policies across a WordPress website or to selected user roles. When a user has multiple roles, administrators can set policy priority. Set password rules and manage accounts
Password policies can set minimum length, character requirements, expiration, password history restrictions, and a reset at first login. Administrators can also disable password reset links. For failed login attempts, configure the lockout duration and the method for unlocking an affected account.
Administrators can lock an account manually or configure automatic disabling for inactive WordPress visitors. A dashboard gathers inactive accounts for review. When an account is unlocked, administrators can require a password reset.
Respond to unfamiliar devices and sensitive actions
- Require security questions for sensitive actions, including password resets and account unlocks.
- Receive email alerts when a login comes from an unrecognized device, and remotely terminate a session associated with that device.
- Extend or shorten session timeouts.
- Limit access to the login page by IP address.
- Change the WordPress login URL and set the old URL to return a 404 response or redirect to a selected page.
- Add a GDPR consent notice to the login page.
- Give temporary login access through links that expire or have usage limits, without creating additional user accounts.
- Reset all users’ passwords with one click when suspicious behavior calls for an immediate response.
Configure policies for website workflows
Use role-based policies to set various password and login requirements for administrators, editors, members, or other user groups. Review inactive accounts in one dashboard, lock access when it is no longer needed, and require a new password when access is restored. One-click integrations are available for add-ons such as WooCommerce, LearnDash, and MemberPress, along with other supported integrations.
To set up the add-on, install and activate it on the WordPress site, then open its options and configure the required policies. Choose whether each policy applies site-wide or to particular roles, and review the account, device, session, IP, and consent settings. Before applying restrictions broadly, check the lockout and recovery methods so administrators can manage affected accounts.
