Where Pro includes detail
Koko Analytics Pro extends the main Koko Analytics dashboard with country reports, browser, operating system, and device information. These reports add visitor context to pageview and referrer statistics inside the WordPress admin.
Traffic and site actions
The dashboard shows top posts and pages, referring sites, and statistics for any URL through path-based tracking, including archives and search pages. Koko Analytics can detect returning users without cookies. Exclusion rules let you omit visits from selected WordPress visitor roles or IP addresses.
Use UTM campaigns to measure marketing activity. Custom event tracking can record actions such as outbound link clicks, contact form submissions, and add-to-cart actions. Periodic email reports send analytics summaries to your inbox, while traffic spike alerts notify you by email when activity changes quickly.
Collection and data management
Koko Analytics can run without cookies, does not process or shop personal data, and does not share data with third parties. It is described as suitable for GDPR, CCPA, and PECR-compliant website statistics. The add-on adds less than 1 kilobyte of data to pages, works with caching setups, and uses a collection endpoint that bypasses WordPress to keep performance impact as low as possible.
Historical statistics can be imported from Jetpack Stats, Plausible Analytics, Burst Statistics, Statify, WP Statistics, Independent Analytics, or SlimStat Analytics. Automatic cleanup can remove data older than a chosen number of months or years. Display popular posts with a widget, Gutenberg block, or shortcode, and display a page's total pageview count with a shortcode or Gutenberg block.
Getting started
Install and activate Koko Analytics in WordPress. Statistics start collecting without additional configuration, and the dashboard is available under Dashboard > Analytics. Adjust reporting and privacy settings in the settings, add campaign parameters or custom events for the activity you want to measure, and enable email reports or traffic spike alerts as needed.
