Posting from WordPress: automatic content or campaigns

For posts based on WordPress content, use auto-publishing with category and tag rules to select what is eligible. For a future update, schedule a post to publish later. Recycling republishes selected content at set intervals, while evergreen publishing randomly selects from a group of chosen entries. Campaigns let you make profile posts that are not tied to a WordPress post or page.

Templates, fields, and locations

Multiple auto-post templates support various posting styles. Posts can use custom meta fields, ACF or SCF, and dynamic data from WooCommerce, Yoast, and other third-party add-ons. Featured pictures can be included in automatically generated posts. Product support lets you create and manage Google Business Profile Products from WooCommerce or other content.

Multi-location and multi-account support publishes across multiple Google Business Profile locations. Agency support provides a process for managing posts for multiple clients.

WordPress connections and post formatting

The plugin works with publishing connections through Zapier, IFTTT, Integromat, ManageWP, MainWP, and other services. It works with the Block Editor, WPML and other translation plugins, and WebP and AVIF images. Developers can personalize it with hooks, filters, and WordPress-native functions.

Before publishing, the extension removes unnecessary HTML, shortcodes, and visual editor clutter from utilities such as Divi and WPBakery.

Setup and publishing conditions

Install and activate the plugin in WordPress, connect to Google Business Profile through OAuth, then configure the locations or accounts you want to use. Create templates, set category or tag rules, and choose schedules or recycling intervals as needed.

If a location cannot create posts, check that it is fully verified and live; some locations may still be ineligible. Google must be able to reach linked URLs and images, so localhost sites can encounter errors. The GBP API currently limits uploads to one picture and does not allow video posts through the API. Scheduled publishing relies on WordPress Cron, which normally runs when someone visits the website; low traffic can delay posts. Connecting WordPress Cron to a system task scheduler can make scheduled publishing more dependable.
