Use one audio file for a standalone recording or add multiple documents to make a playlist. Track details can include titles, artist names, and cover images. The player supports audio uploads and visual options for the surrounding page.
Playback behavior across tracks
Smart play and pause control enables one track to play at a time and automatically pauses other tracks. For playlists, Auto Play starts the next song when the current one ends, while Loop Mode repeats the current track. Previous and next buttons move between playlist tracks.
- Five customizable themes.
- Current and total time show for each track.
- A custom stop button that can be shown or hidden.
- Playback speed controls.
- A download icon for saving the audio file.
- Forward and backward buttons for skipping within a track.
Appearance depends on the player settings
Adjust the thumbnail border and radius, seek bar height and radius, thumb width, outline, and shadow. Other detailed controls cover the controls border and hover border, time display radius, artist opacity, waveform colors, and playlist border and radius.
Additional player settings include width, height, colors, backgrounds, hover effects, track details, and cover images. These options can be used to style an album, episode collection, lesson series, or article narration to fit its page.
Use playlists for music, episodes, or lessons
Musicians and bands can share albums or singles with cover art. Podcasters can add episodes to posts and pages, while course creators can include audio lessons or narration. Bloggers can provide audio versions of articles for readers who prefer listening.
Add and configure a player
Install and activate the Audio Player Block add-on, then open a post or page in the Gutenberg editor. In the Widgets block category, add Audio Player Block. Upload audio files and a cover picture, enter each track's title and artist information, and arrange the playlist.
Use the settings sidebar to choose a theme, set playback behavior, and adjust dimensions and visual details. Publish the post or page when the player is ready. To place it elsewhere, use the shortcode option where shortcode content is supported.
