Fonts Plugin Pro for WordPress Font Hosting and Styling

Fonts Plugin Pro extends Fonts Plugin with font delivery and element styling controls for WordPress. Configure typography in the WordPress Customizer and preview changes on your own content before publishing. The supported controls do not require theme file edits or CSS.

Choose a font source

The base add-on supports Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts through an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, and uploaded font files in .ttf, .otf, .woff, and .woff2 formats. Assign typefaces to headings, body text, content areas, and other supported components.

Configure font delivery

Pro can host Google Fonts locally so the files are served from your domain. It can remove Google Fonts loaded by your theme or other add-ons, then rewrite external font requests to use local copies.

Selective Font Loading lets you disable unused weights and alphabet subsets. For example, you can untick italic, thin, or black weights, or Cyrillic and Greek subsets that your users do not need. Preloading is available for selected font files and is intended to help text paint sooner without a fallback flash.

Style individual elements

Set font size, colour, line height, letter spacing, and text transform for individual elements. When the standard element choices do not match your site, use a custom CSS selector to target the element you want to style.

Set up and review typography

1. Install and activate Fonts Plugin, then open its typography settings in the Customizer.
