EmbedPress Pro: Google Reviews and WordPress embeds

EmbedPress Pro extends WordPress embedding with advanced Google Reviews shows and options for adding supported media and documents to posts and pages. For many services, paste a shareable URL to make a responsive embed. You can also upload documents or add content through the Classic Editor, Gutenberg, Elementor, or shortcodes in other page builders.

Choose a Google Reviews layout

Use the built-in place picker to find and choose a Google Business. An administrator must agree to connect before business searches and review fetching. The picker does not require a Google API key or Place ID. Fetched reviews are stored locally; page views contact the review service only for places that have not yet been fetched or are still fetching.

Use List, Grid, Carousel, or Card layouts, or choose one of six Pro layouts: Masonry, Compact Badge, Spotlight, Knowledge Panel, Marquee, and Bubble. Apply a Dark Theme or Custom Accent Color, enable Autoplay and slider controls, filter reviews by keyword, set the sort order, or hide reviews without text. Multi-Place support combines reviews from multiple Google Businesses in one show.

Review Schema outputs AggregateRating and Review JSON-LD. Its presence does not determine whether a search engine displays a rich result.

Add media and documents to WordPress

Paste a supported shareable URL for content such as YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Spotify, Google Docs, Google Maps, social feeds, posts, or pages. Available embeds depend on the source. You can also upload PDF, PowerPoint, DOC, XLS, and other files through the Document block and addons. PDFs can use a 3D flipbook viewer with options such as a toolbar and sound effects.

Pro also includes custom branding and source-specific playback controls for supported media embeds. Embed analytics can display embed counts, clicks, views, impressions, and geo data, with an option to export the data.

Set up an embed

Install EmbedPress in WordPress and open the editor or page builder used for the page. Add an EmbedPress block, upload a document, paste a supported URL, or use a shortcode. To display Google Reviews, select a place with the built-in picker, choose a layout, and adjust the available Pro options before publishing.
