Simple Link Directory Pro for WordPress Directories

Simple Link Directory Pro organizes WordPress links into topic-focused lists for resource pages, bookmark collections, local business directories, vendor and partner listings, affiliate resources, company intranets, and video directories. Display a single list or bring several together on a page.

Lists shape the directory

Lists are the main organizing unit, with categories assigned to lists rather than individual links. A link entry cannot belong to multiple lists or categories. Each list shows in one column; combine multiple lists to create a multi-column directory. Pro also supports live search and filters for lists and tags, plus pagination for list entries.

Prepare entries with AI

Bulk AI utilities can create lists with links, titles, subtitles, pictures, and long descriptions. Supported services include Gemini, OpenAI, and Openrouter. The add-on can also generate a title, description, and thumbnail from a site link. Image options include an automatic favicon, a Font Awesome icon, an uploaded picture, a pasted image link, or a generated screenshot thumbnail.

Publish and help users view

Use the shortcode generator or the Link Directory block for Gutenberg to add a directory to a page or post. Choose a template and display options; visitors can search and filter the published lists. You can also enable link upvotes and let registered visitors save favorite lists. YouTube and Vimeo links can play in a lightbox, and directory lists can be embedded on other websites.

Manage submissions and listing payments

Pro supports front-end link submissions, visitor registration, and free or paid listing options. Configure whether new users and submitted links need admin approval or can be approved automatically. PayPal and Stripe payment options are available, along with featured listings and a claim-listing option.

Extend the directory

• Link Exchange AddOn supports an automated link exchange workflow for backlink generation.
• Broken Link Checker AddOn checks links in directory lists.
• Review Rating AddOn lets visitors leave review comments and ratings, with options for approval and access.
• Modern MultiPage Mode AddOn generates category, list, and link-detail pages from a shortcode.

Set up and save large lists

After activating the extension, create a page or post and use the shortcode generator to add the directory. For example, [qcopd-directory mode="all" column="3" style="style-1"] displays all lists in three columns with the selected style. The Settings and Help area has setup tips. When a large list will not save, the server's max_input_vars setting may limit how many fields can be processed at once.
