Administrators can organize cookies into categories such as functional, analytics, and marketing, then let users accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or select which categories to allow. Advanced scanning can detect cookies set by JavaScript, and administrators can select pages to scan.

Consent options for scripts and content

Pro works with Google Consent Mode v2 and Microsoft Clarity Consent Mode v2. Content blocking can hold services such as YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Maps until a user accepts the cookies they require. Geo targeting and user country detection support location-aware consent settings, while subdomain consent sharing lets preferences carry across related subdomains.

Privacy entries and language options

Privacy controls include a “Do not sell my Information” option and Global Privacy Control (GPC). Administrators can maintain consent logs and export them. Pro also lists support for India’s DPDP Act 2023 and a Data Principal Request portal.

The consent experience supports 17 languages, with Polylang and WPML integrations for multilingual WordPress processes. CookieAdmin lists support for GDPR and US state laws; its accessibility support is described as ADA, EAA, and WCAG compliant.

Install and activate CookieAdmin first, then install and activate CookieAdmin Pro before opening its administration settings. Customize the consent form, configure cookie categories and scanning, and select the Pro options needed for consent modes, content blocking, geographic controls, languages, consent records, or privacy settings. Review the banner on the website’s frontend, and add a shortcode where a tabular cookie list is useful.
