RevivePress Premium for WordPress Republishing

RevivePress Premium republishes existing WordPress posts and pages by resetting their publication date to the current date. Selected content can return to the front page, the top of archive pages, and RSS feeds. Posts are not duplicated by default, though duplication can be configured in the add-on settings. Changing a date can affect how a post appears in date-based searches and sharing workflows; it does not update the post’s text.

Bring evergreen posts back into view

RevivePress Premium republishes existing WordPress posts and pages by resetting their publication date to the current date. Selected content can return to the front page, the top of archive pages, and RSS feeds. Posts are not duplicated by default, though duplication can be configured in the add-on settings. Changing a date can affect how a post appears in date-based searches and sharing workflows; it does not update the post’s text.

Choose what to republish and when

Republish individual posts once or repeatedly. Set a date and time, a custom interval, a minimum interval, or a randomness interval, or choose a custom date range. Each republication event can have its own title. Premium also works with custom post types and custom taxonomies.

Set the actions around each event

  • Automatically share republished content on social media, or use the one-click republish and social share action.
  • Change the post status after republishing or after its final republication.
  • Send email notifications when content is republished, with OneSignal push notification support.
  • Use WordPress Sticky Posts and choose whether the original publication date appears before or after the post. You can also conceal that date from the frontend.
  • Change the post name or URL on each republication.

Review activity and coordinate site updates

Logs display republication history. A dashboard widget lists upcoming single republications, and an admin column displays republication information. Automatic cache purging can target the website or a single post; support covers most cache plugins and hosting platforms, including W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, WP Rocket, WP Fastest Cache, LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize, Breeze, and WP Engine.

The extension supports the Indexing API plugin and the Indexing API by Rank Math. These integrations do not guarantee that a page will be indexed. Full WPML and Polylang compatibility supports multilingual publishing workflows.

Configure and monitor

Install RevivePress Premium through the WordPress administration area. Configure republication settings, then select the posts or content types to manage. Set schedules and date ranges, titles, sharing, notifications, cache purging, and post-status behavior. Use the logs and dashboard widget to review completed and upcoming events.

The plugin listing says RevivePress has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases and may have compatibility issues on newer versions. Check compatibility with your WordPress installation before relying on scheduled republication.
