Templates and menu layouts
Browse more than 100 ready-made menus by category or name, view a screenshot of each and import a design in one click. Imported menus remain editable. You can also apply a template’s styling to an existing menu while keeping its items.
- Create floating bars in 10 styles, plus quarter, half and full circular fans.
- Choose from 13 one-page navigation indicator styles that highlight the section in view.
- Place side panels on the left or right, add slanted skew panels, or use icon rails that open on click or hover.
- Arrange full-screen menus in one, two or three columns.
- Add submenus up to three levels deep, with seven ways to open them.
Panel content and animation
Panels can include a logo, website title and tagline, a search form, social icons, footer text, entry descriptions and badges. A panel header can display the logged-in visitor’s avatar and name. Set a colour, picture or YouTube video as the background with an overlay, build the panel in Elementor, or show a WordPress page inside it. Four Elementor widgets provide an animated hover menu, a multi-level menu, a breadcrumb menu and a close button.
Animation settings cover various parts of the menu: 12 floating-bar entrance effects; 29 trigger-button hover and 12 idle animations; 37 panel entrance and 37 exit effects; six wave transitions; a Morphin effect for full-screen menus; and 16 animated hamburger icons.
Display rules and responsive settings
Choose pages, post types, archives, search results or the 404 page where a menu appears. Rules can also target logged-in or logged-out users, selected user roles, devices or languages. With Polylang, you can show a different menu for each language. Schedule menus by dates and days of the week, reveal them after scrolling, or conceal them while visitors scroll down. Separate sizes and spacing for tablet and mobile let you adjust each layout by screen size.
Styling, management and compatibility
Choose from seven icon packs with more than 13,000 icons, or use your own images. Customize button shapes, colours, typography, spacing, shadows, borders, hover states, menu width, offsets, alignment and trigger position. The plugin includes more than 1,400 Google fonts, with an option to serve them from your own server.
Import, export, duplicate or convert menus between supported types. Scripts and styles load only on pages where a menu appears. Menu text is translation-ready, and the extension supports WPML and RTL layouts. Developers can use its hooks and filters.
Setup and existing menus
Install and activate Super Floating & Flying Menu in WordPress. Start with a template or create a menu from scratch, add buttons or menu items, set its layout and display rules, then preview it before publishing. Menus created on the Floating Menus screen in Simple Floating Menu continue to be read by the premium plugin without an import step. A bar created on the Simple Floating Menu screen can be brought over with Import From Free.
