Designil PDPA Thailand Pro for WordPress Consent

Designil PDPA Thailand Pro extends the Designil PDPA Thailand consent add-on for WordPress sites in Thailand and international sites that collect information from clients there. The base add-on shows a consent popup and is designed to request a visitor's choice before personal data collection scripts execute. It stores an accept or reject choice in a cookie, and administrators can reset stored consent from the dashboard.

Cookie groups, expiry, and script placement

Name and organize cookies into groups so visitors can select which categories to accept. Pro works with unlimited groups, including groups for cookies set before or after consent. The plugin lists Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel among its supported tracking utilities. Administrators can set cookie expiry conditions and durations, then add descriptions for cookies and related scripts.

Place scripts before, after, or on the page, using all three positions when needed. Pro also includes a Cookie Wizard to help configure tracking and a wizard for creating consent text. Its Cookie Scanner can help identify cookies in use as a starting point for privacy policy work.

Popup settings and visitor choices

Customize popup text and button wording, including the text on all consent system buttons. The base plugin also lets administrators choose interface colors. Pro includes four popup modes and nine templates, background blur, loading effects, light and dark modes, and a selection of 14 themes. A mini popup can appear after a visitor consents or closes the main popup. Administrators can adjust reject button behavior and turn off automatic consent.

Pro is described as supporting unlimited pageviews without stopping after a visitor limit. Cache Proof is designed for use with caching extensions. Designil Dynamic Caching regenerates CSS and JavaScript documents to support the site's CDN setup.

Consent entries and withdrawal requests

Pro can record accept and reject choices. Administrators can set a maximum retention period, view and filter records, show them in a table, download them as CSV, keep only accepted records, or clear the log. Date and time filters are also available.

A request form, added through a shortcode, lets visitors submit consent withdrawal requests. Administrators can restrict submissions to logged-in visitors, set file size limits for identity documents, and receive notifications when requests are submitted or their status changes. The tools include status tracking, deadline settings, and daily deadline notifications.

Templates, languages, and setup

Pro supports template overrides, multiple languages, and JSON import and export of settings. Developers can provide a replacement popup template. The plugin also offers editable Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy templates. The Privacy Policy template references Thailand Data Protection Guidelines 3.0 from the Faculty of Law at Chulalongkorn University.

1. Install and activate Designil PDPA Thailand on the WordPress website.
2. Activate Pro to access its additional controls.
3. Configure popup text and appearance, button wording, cookie groups, descriptions, and expiry settings.
4. Add scripts in the required before, after, or on-page positions.
5. Review consent behavior and reset stored consent from the dashboard when needed.

The plugin does not use jQuery and is designed to work with WordPress themes. Its settings bring cookie explanations, visitor choices, script placement, and consent record management together in the WordPress administration area.
