Schema Premium for WordPress: Structured Data Controls
Schema Premium is a paid WordPress add-on for adding structured data in JSON-LD format. This markup gives search engines information about page content and may affect how eligible results appear; adding it does not guarantee an enhanced search result.

Choose types and content locations
Apply markup across a post type or category, or enable it in other areas of your site. Customize the data sources for properties, map properties to available data, and reuse post meta created by other add-ons.
Premium works with Article, BlogPosting, Event, Course, SpecialAnnouncement, JobPosting, LocalBusiness, Person, Product, Recipe, Review, Service, SoftwareApplication, WebPage, FAQPage, and HowTo types. Google retired FAQ rich results in May 2026, so FAQPage support does not provide that search capability.
Structured data can cover pages, posts, archives, author pages, headers, footers, breadcrumbs, video, and audio. VideoObject markup can be enabled automatically for oEmbed videos from VideoPress, YouTube, TED, Vimeo, Dailymotion, and Vine. AudioObject markup can be enabled for oEmbed audio from SoundCloud and Mixcloud.
Work with WordPress utilities and themes
The add-on works alongside Yoast SEO, AMP, AMP for WP, WPRichSnippets, The SEO Framework, WPBakery Page Builder, ThirstyAffiliates, and Easy Digital Downloads. WooCommerce integration is provided by the separate Schema for WooCommerce extension. Other available extensions cover FAQ and how-to blocks, ratings, reviews, default pictures, and Schema Review capabilities.
Schema Premium is intended to work with well-coded WordPress themes. Genesis 2.x, Thesis 2.x, and Divi are listed as tested themes; that list does not establish compatibility with every current theme version. Developers can extend the plugin with other add-ons or extensions, or through a theme's functions.php file.
Configure and review the markup
- Install Schema Premium on your WordPress website.
- Choose the schema types and content locations that fit your site.
- Customize property data sources if your workflow requires it.
- Review the generated JSON-LD and test the markup with a structured data testing tool.
Paid visitors can contact the schema.press team for one-to-one email support. The broader type selection, placement, and mapping controls are useful for publishers, site owners, developers, and store operators managing structured data across various kinds of content.
