WP Plugin Manager Pro lets you manage where active WordPress add-ons load from a visual dashboard. Set conditions for particular parts of your site or the WordPress admin area to limit unnecessary plugin assets in selected locations. Common adjustments do not require code or changes to plugin documents.

Pages and content

Target pages, posts, and custom post types. You can disable a plugin in selected locations or use inverse logic to enable it on selected pages. Multiple conditional rules help when one page-based setting does not cover the website’s needs.

For example, a form plugin may be needed on a contact page but not on product pages. An e-commerce extension may be relevant to shop content but unnecessary for a standard blog post.

Devices, URLs, and paths

Set different loading behavior for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, or combine device categories such as desktop and tablet. Custom URL patterns and directories let you target distinct site sections or content structures.

Admin pages and PHP file conditions

Pro can apply plugin rules to specific WordPress admin pages. Custom PHP file conditions let you manage plugins that are not needed throughout the dashboard, which can limit loading in selected administrative workflows.

Larger content libraries

Extended post loading works with managing more than 150 posts, which can help when reviewing or applying rules across a larger content library.

Set and review plugin rules

  1. Install and activate the Pro edition in WordPress, then open its management dashboard.
  2. Search or filter the available plugins and choose one to manage.
  3. Select the relevant pages, posts, custom post types, devices, URLs, paths, or admin locations.
  4. Use the visual controls to enable or disable the plugin according to the chosen condition, then save the rules.
  5. Test important front-end and administrative workflows. Review the result and adjust a rule or re-enable a plugin if it affects a required process.

WP Plugin Manager Pro works with caching plugins. After changing rules, clear the relevant cache so the updated behavior can be reflected.

Apply rules selectively

Rules can help separate plugin behavior across landing pages, blog sections, custom post types, device categories, and administrative screens. They can also help limit unrelated CSS and JavaScript loading where those assets are not needed. Security or system plugins may need to remain active across all pages, so consider their requirements when setting conditions.
