Vik Booking Pro extends the VikBooking Hotel Booking Engine and PMS for WordPress. It is designed for hotels, bed and breakfasts, villas, apartments, hostels, and similar accommodation businesses that need an internal reservation system. Staff manage bookings and property operations in WordPress administration, while users use a customizable, self-hosted booking process.

Set up rooms, room types, listings, and sub-units, then review availability and pricing calendars and the occupancy overview. The booking process supports different pricing inputs: occupancy, nightly rates, length of stay, and other models. Custom rate plans can describe refundable, flexible, or non-refundable conditions. On the front end, 12 views are available through 12 shortcode types for WordPress pages.

Rates and booking restrictions

Seasonal rates and a rates calendar support one-click price modifications. Booking restrictions control different parts of a stay: set minimum or maximum lengths, close dates to arrivals or departures, or require arrival and departure on selected weekdays. Options for extra services and fees are also included.

Reservation operations

For existing bookings, users can add, remove, or switch rooms. Customer management and utilities for sales channels and commissions support reservation administration. Housekeeping features include tableaux, festivities, and room-day notes. Guest registration and reporting cover check-in, check-out, and no-show entries.

Payments, messages, and reports

More than 60 custom payment gateways are available through VikWP.com. SMS gateways support automated notifications, and custom cron job scheduling can automate tasks such as reminders and invoices. Graphs and statistics help review booking activity.

PMS reports use an extendable framework with built-in services for various countries. The electronic invoicing framework includes compliance support for Italy through Agenzia delle Entrate and Greece through myDATA AADE. These reporting and invoicing tools let accommodation teams work with operational records alongside reservations.

Channel connections and administration

Vik Booking Pro is compatible with Vik Channel Manager. Full API connections are described for Airbnb, Expedia, and Google Hotel Free Booking Links. It is also described as Google Hotel Ads certified for Free Booking Links. WhatsApp Business messaging integration with AI support is available when the Channel Manager is required.

Permissions and ACL management help control functions for different WordPress user roles. Built-in translation functions support multilingual administration and booking processes. The back end includes the PMS section, and the front-end booking process is customizable for the accommodation site.

Setup sequence

1. Define rooms, room types, listings, and sub-units.
2. Configure pricing models, rate plans, seasonal rates, and restrictions.
3. Publish the appropriate booking views using shortcodes.
4. Set payment, notification, customer, and reporting settings.
5. Manage reservations, housekeeping notes, guest records, and reports from WordPress.

Installation

Install the VikBooking plugin in WordPress and upgrade to the Pro version from the WordPress administration area. After activation, configure the accommodation structure, rates, booking rules, and front-end views before accepting reservations.
