PPOM PRO for WooCommerce Product Options and Custom Fields

Collect customer choices on product pages

PPOM PRO is the paid version of PPOM (Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce). It includes configurable fields to product pages so shoppers can enter personalization, select options, upload documents, choose colors, provide dates or share order details. Assign fields to individual products, product categories or products with selected tags. These fields can fit printed goods, customized gifts, products with selectable finishes and items that need customer files or instructions.

Standard and specialized inputs

Standard PPOM field types include text, textarea, select, radio, checkbox, date, email, number and hidden fields. PPOM PRO adds specialized inputs for collecting and organizing product information:

• File uploads: Set accepted file types and size limits, with a progress bar and thumbnail show.
• Color tools: Offer predefined palettes or let clients choose colors and save a Hex value.
• Date and time: Set date ranges and offer timezone choices from a predefined list.
• Quantity and variation: Use bulk quantities, variation matrices and various quantities for options.
• Product page layout: Organize fields with collapse inputs, dividers, fonts, emojis, conditional pictures and chained inputs.
• Specialized fields: Check domain availability, add fixed-price inputs and restrict word or character counts with text counters.

Pricing, conditional rules and validation

Selected options can change the product price. Option prices can be taxable, and weight can be assigned to options. For text and numeric fields, conditional logic includes contains, regular expression, between, multiples, less than, greater than, odd and even conditions.

Instant validation checks required fields in real time without reloading the page. Set minimum and maximum lengths, input masks, tooltips, field widths, CSS classes and visibility. Fields can be shown to everyone, guests or selected user roles.

Reusable groups and repeaters

Assign multiple meta groups to one product, then use PPOM Repeater to repeat a group of fields as needed. Conditional Repeater can repeat fields based on a quantity, such as adding a name field for each personalized entry in an order. Import and export tools are available in PPOM settings.

Other process settings include cart editing, displaying fields in a popup, and choosing whether grouped fields start expanded or collapsed. When cart editing is enabled, customers can change their selections from the cart page.

Store, currency and export workflows

PPOM PRO integrates with WooCommerce Currency Switcher, WPML Currency Switcher and a WooCommerce Wholesale plugin. It also works with WPML and Polylang for multilingual stores. Through compatibility with Advanced Order Export For WooCommerce, custom fields can be exported in CSV, XLS, XML and JSON formats.

Installation and setup

Install PPOM PRO on a WordPress site with WooCommerce, then create or configure field groups in the extension settings. Assign fields to products, categories or product tags, configure prices and rules, and review the product page before publishing. The fields then appear in the customer's product selection workflow.
