Send WordPress transactional email through MailerSend

Compare plan volume and billing
Pay-as-you-go is intended for higher email volumes without a long-term commitment. It may fit sites with variable sending needs or organizations that prefer flexible billing. MailerSend Premium plans start at $30 per month for 50,000 emails per month.
The plan information also lists a free allowance of up to 3,000 emails per month. Paid plans are an option when that allowance is insufficient or a higher-volume arrangement is needed.
Verify the domain and set delivery expectations
MailerSend says its infrastructure and email authentication are intended to support inbox placement, reduce spam-folder placement, lower blocklisting risk and hard bounce rates, and help protect domain reputation. These measures do not guarantee inbox placement or prevent every bounce or blocklisting event.
Before sending, you need a MailerSend account and a verified domain. Enable SMTP for the domain, then enter the resulting credentials in the WordPress add-on. This routes your website's outgoing transactional email through MailerSend.
Review message activity and integrations
The dashboard reports metrics such as open rates, bounce rates, and click-through rates. MailerSend can also monitor opens, clicks, open locations, and devices. You can use your own subdomain and a custom tracking link to review recipient engagement.
MailerSend connects with thousands of other apps through Zapier. Webhooks provide instant push updates, and the inbound route capability lets you receive customer replies sent to your domain.
Install and test the connection
Install the MailerSend plugin in WordPress and create or access a MailerSend account. Add and verify your domain, enable SMTP, and enter the SMTP credentials in the plugin options. Test the connection, then send a transactional message to confirm it is working.
Support is available through contact options or live chat in the app. A dedicated support team works 24/7.
