Prepare data and preview the chart
Enter data in a spreadsheet with support for multiple sheets, or import a CSV file with a configurable delimiter. CSV import is fully keyboard-accessible; spreadsheet keyboard support is partial. Screen-reader visitors entering data should use CSV import. The preview redraws as you change the data and settings.
The bundled Chart.js library works with 19 chart types: line, spline, area, column, stacked column, bar, stacked bar, pie, doughnut, scatter, bubble, radar, radar area, polar, treemap, boxplot, violin, venn, and euler.
Choose a format and embed method
Publish each chart as a live interactive chart, a static picture, or a plain HTML data table. Charts are also saved automatically as PNG pictures, with configurable width and a quality multiplier from 1x to 4x. Static images can be used in RSS feeds, emails, AMP pages, and other places where interactive JavaScript charts may not work.
Insert a chart with a shortcode or the block editor block. An iframe can embed it on another site.
Presentation, accessibility, and localization
M Chart targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Each front-end chart includes a hidden data table for screen readers. Charts fit their containers and can defer rendering until scrolled into view; the block editor uses lazy loading.
The bundled Chart.js themes can be switched per installation, including a Color Blind Safe palette. Locale-aware number formatting and translation support accommodate various languages and regional conventions.
Adjust chart details
Per-chart settings include the title and subtitle, axis titles and units, a forced axis minimum, legend and shared-tooltip controls, data-point labels, source attribution, and color per data point.
Workflow
Install M Chart and the M Chart Pro add-on. Create a chart, enter or import its data, select a chart type, and set its presentation settings. Review the preview, choose an output format and embedding method, then add the chart with a shortcode, block, or iframe.
