Connect a data source and map its fields
Create an importer from a local upload, remote URL or data feed, FTP server, published or downloadable Google Sheet, or a file already on your web server. Set CSV delimiters, enclosures and character encoding. For XML, choose a document base path to define each record, then map nodes or attributes with the visual selector or use XPath when needed.
Control each import execute
Set a unique identifier to match entries for insert or update operations, and choose whether the importer can insert, update or delete records. Run a one-time migration manually or schedule recurring imports for ongoing data updates. Review the run history and logs after importing.
Handle media, integrations and exports
Import images and other attachments from remote URLs, FTP, the local filesystem or the WordPress media library. Reuse existing media to avoid duplicates, and map attachment titles, captions, alternative text and descriptions.
Free add-ons support WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, Rank Math SEO, Polylang, WPML and BLM property feeds. The WooCommerce integration covers products, variations, images, attributes, categories, prices and stock. The Advanced Custom Fields and JetEngine add-ons require Import WP Pro.
The built-in exporter makes CSV, XML or JSON files from WordPress data. Select fields, filter records, personalize CSV headings and define XML node or attribute names. Exports can include posts, pages, taxonomies, custom fields, images, attachments, terms and related data, with nested XML available for repeating data.
